Friday 5 March 2010 @ 15:24 400th post. And I'm going to dedicate it to the 10 children I met over the span of this week. It's kind of funny how I've only spent 20 hours with them (12 hours spread across the week, of course), and yet I miss them so much now. One of my flaws is that while I am not very social, I get attached to people easily, and so whenever I have to seperate with someone, I get withdrawal symptoms :( I miss Jellybean*, Sushi, Eggplant, Macaroni, Ravioli, Ramen (even though I only saw him for one day), Waffle, Cornflake, Zucchini and X. I remember how I took so much pride when Jellybean was able to tell me she wanted more food during Snack Time, when X managed to use a fork to spear his bread. It may seem like such meaningless, simple tasks to you, and yet I couldn't help but feel so proud of them. Basically, I really learnt alot from the children, and I hope that they will be able to have a bright future ♥ Bye bye everyone “Remember me and smile, for it's better to forget than remember me and cry.” *I have given them nicknames for their privacy :) |
