As you can see, I've changed my music player, thanks to MixPod's sudden regulation about showing the actual YouTube video and what not...=.=

The song's called "I'll Try" and it's actually from the soundtrack of one of the Peter Pan movies, Return to Neverland. AWESOME OR NOT?! It was on TV just now in the morning, and this song came on~

I realise that compared to Prince Charming, I'd rather have a Peter Pan. Idk why. Disney movies have kind of made me into a hopeless romantic, thus explaning my belief in that One True Love and Happily Ever After (you can see how both are important to me by my usage of caps.)

But now I think that drama shows have made all these...values overrated. Lame plots, over-used cliche events...nowadays there are only a handful of drama shows that are actually worth watching. I mean seriously, name me one person you know who's crashed into a random hot guy and ending up accidentally kissing him?!

And then also, there's the infamous falling scene, where the female lead trips and falls and just as she's about to hit the ground another random hot guy will come and catch her by the waist or something. Then they will stare into each other's eyes and SPARKS WILL FLY WOO.

...Right. Explain why whenever I've fallen the only thing I get is blood and pain. And embarassment (XD).

Oh. Then there are those scenes where the female and male lead pass by each other and they completely miss each other. Like come on, there's no reason for them NOT to see each other! Are they really that blind?!

Another one is where the female and male leads are childhood lovers and then for some reason they seperate (mostly it's because the male lead has to move away to USA/Canada/random English-speaking country) and when they meet again some things happen blahblahblah.

Then again, these shows are called "dramas" for a reason. And they've given me unrealistic expectations about how I will meet my future significant other.

But what if I never meet my OTL?! WHAT IF I GROW OLD ALONE IN A 2-ROOM HDB FLAT WITH A CAT NAMED AH GIRL AND A DOG NAMED AH BOY AND EVEN WHEN I DIE DUE TO SOME STUPID REASON NOBODY WILL KNOW?!

And still I spend my time daydreaming about how I will meet my Peter Pan :D
