colour confusion.
Friday 4 September 2009 @ 19:16 You know what, I really can't stand those kind of people who can't differentiate between the colours brown and black. Especially when they're doing Facebook notes and there's a question which asks: "What colour is your eyes/hair?" then they answer "Brown :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" Er-hem, excuse me, based on my knowledge on colours (and their names) and the amount of times I've looked you in the eyes while talking (which I do quite often)/looked at your hair, your eyes are black, not brown, or hazel brown, or light brown, or any other shade of excretion colour. I don't get what's so wrong about just admitting that your hair/eyes is black. Is black so ugly?! I, personally, think that having black hair/eyes is a very wonderful thing. You don't know how many Caucasians envy us Asians for having black hair/eyes (especially the goths XD), so why is it so difficult to just admit that your hair/eye colour is black?! Some people might say that "black is a very ordinary colour" or whatever lame excuse their minds can think of. But excuse me, BROWN IS ALSO A VERY ORDINARY COLOUR. In fact, name me one colour which is extraordinary. Really. (Pink heh. XDD) And what makes the whole thing even more ludicrous is that their hair/eyes don't even have that slight tint of brown in them! So what right do you have to say that your hair/eyes are brown? Are you trying to tell people like me that we have colour confusion and we can't tell from black or brown?! I've seen people who've had brown hair/eyes, and believe me, it's nothing similar to yours, ok. Black is black. Brown is brown. They are in no ways related. Next time you answer a simple question like that, think about the basics ok? P.S. If any of you think that I'm talking about you, I'm probably not, I only got motivation to write this after looking at some of my primary schoolmates' profiles. So don't go and 对号入座 ok (sorry but I'm too lazy to think of the English translation for that. XD)? |
