You know, after news got out that Michael Jackson died, I've noticed this really annoying fact.

Now all the celebritites (both local and foreign) are claiming that they're "huge fans of Michael Jackson" and what-not. Idk, I just somehow get the feeling that they were fans, but not "huge fans" (which is a really heavy responsibilty, you know). It's like, when MJ was alive, did you guys stalk his website/blog/fansite whatever? Did you guys go around collecting posters and CDs?

I mean, sure, MJ is the legendary "King Of Pop" and I agree that nobody will ever replace him (well, not in my lifetime, although I still think that he freaks me out), but seriously, it's unsettling to see that people are just claiming that they're huge fans because he's dead and all.

Well, I suppose that's because I really hate it when all of a sudden something grows very popular and everyone is in love with it. It's really like suddenly, everyone has lost their originality (for example, Twilight *gag* *puke*). I'm not saying that they don't have the right to be a fan of this person/thing, but it's just kind of sad to see that people are crazily in love with the current trend and suddenly forget about it when the craze dies down.

I hate that.

(Am currently in Comm Arts lesson XD I just really wanted to get this off my chest and stuff, so no offense intended to any MJ fans.)
