Outing.
Sunday, 30 November 2008 @ 14:02 Woots, FINALLY, my phone USB decides to work. =D So, the outing went off without a hitch! *claps* Well, except from that part when I collapsed. :S I'll talk about that in another post, but now, here are the pics! (Not many, but better than nothing right?) Anyways, I was the first one there at the Queenstown MRT station. Cassandra had to go pay respects to her late uncle first so we would meet her at Plaza Singapura later and Dave wanted to take the free shuttle bus from his house, so I was to meet only Evvie, Gary and Hock Jin at the MRT station. After about half an hour, Evvie finally arrived (she woke up late. LOL) and we took the MRT to Raffles Place to Dhoby Ghaut (sp?). Surprisingly, Cassandra and Dave were there before us. LOL! So then we went to go buy tickets for the movie. At first we wanted to watch Madagescar 2, but Dave and Gary had already watched it, so we decided to watch another one, namely The Sky Crawlers. It was about children who never grew up who smoked and had sex on a regular basis. Like, WTH?! And then the movie was so boring that Cass, Evvie and I kept on laughing at stupid things that weren't even pertaining to the movie. *sighs* I knew we should've watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua. No matter, next week there'll be another outing! Don't know where yet, but we're going to watch Bolt! You can tell by the hyper-active hamster that it's going to be an awesome movie. Who cares that Miley Cyrus is in it? I MUST WATCH IT. But I'm wondering whether to watch Cape No. 7/ߺ, because it seems that everyone in Taiwan is crazy over about it. LOL. So, after the BORING movie, we went to go play at the arcade! (I think I blew about $10++ there. Whoops.) Afterwards, Gary kept on saying that he wanted to go to an Internet cafe/LAN shop, so Cass led the way to one located at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. But then we wasted like 25 minutes because Gary/Hock Jin just spent that time walking around the place looking at people play Audition/World of Warcraft. Then they decided that $3.50 per hour was too expensive. =_= Then Gary wanted to go home. WITHOUT TAKING NEOPRINTS. Come to think of it, Gary was the one who created the most problems. LOL. And so, this resulted in Gary and Hock Jin having a round of Scissors Paper Stones. AND HOCK JIN WON, WOO. So Gary had no choice but to follow us to take neoprints. WAHAHA. We went to take neoprints at my fave neoprint booth. Woots. So then the guys left, leaving us girls to window shop. Yay! We passed by this huge tower made out of Coke bottles and Cassandra formed a deviant plan about pushing it down, but then Evvie pointed out that there were cardboard supports behind the glass bottles. Psh. Cheaters. LOL. After a session, Evvie and Cass went home together and so I was left on my own, waiting for Mummy to arrived at The Centrepoint so that we could do some Christmas shopping. THE END. XD *bored*
Thursday, 27 November 2008 @ 11:14 Wow, I'm bored. I hadn't realised that the school holidays after PSLE would be so boring! Everyday is like the same thing. Wake up, brush teeth, play DS/watch TV/use the computer, eat lunch, continue with the three activities afore-mentioned, then eat dinner, watch TV before going to sleep. I know I sound like I'm rubbing salt into all my P5 juniors' wound, but HAHA, TOO BAD. I remember last year during the December school holidays Mr Wong But to all thoe tiny children out there, you shouldn't learn from me. This is what happened: I got a B in Science for my PSLE. :( Ok, lame post. Whatever. Book Review
Monday, 24 November 2008 @ 13:48 This is the book that I've just finished reading, The Poision Apples by Lily Archer. It's a really good book! It's basically about these three girls, Alice, Reena and Molly. Although they have completely different personalities, they all have one thing in common: they all have "evil" stepmothers, who sent all three of them to study in a boarding school called Putnam Mount McKinsey. When the three first meet at PMM, they all get off on the wrong foot and misunderstandings start to occur. However, when they find out that they all have stepmothers, they create a group called 'The Poison Apples' and start to plan on how to exact revenge on their stepmothers who had previously made them suffer. I won't reveal the ending but I must say, it's quite unexpected. The reason I like this book is because Lily Archer manages to write in all three girls' points of view, thus allowing me to understand why they hate their stepmothers and how in the end they come to a decision as to what to do. Ok, so this review sucks, but this is a really good book, and I recommend it to anyone who has free time on their hands. LOL. The Poison Apples can be found at the Queenstown Community LIbrary and other Community Libraries. Tired.
Sunday, 23 November 2008 @ 17:12 Just came back from Jurong Point with Mummy. I'm so surprised as to how much as changed. Darling Mummy actually spent $104++ for four balls of yarn so that she could knit a scarf for me to bring to Hong Kong. Aww. Did I mention how much I love her? Haha. We bought Andre, Shaun, Natacia, June jie-jie and Xiao Jiu's Christmas presents. OMG, shopping with an aching back/pair of legs/butt is really terrible. Yesterday in ballet we were all rolling on the floor. :S As much as it seems like it's easy, IT'S NOT, OK?! Now I have a huge patch of baluku on my left knee. My butt hurts and my legs ache. Sigh. Ok, that's all for today. I'll probably update in a few days time. =) OMG.
Thursday, 20 November 2008 @ 22:47 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1RuVXGOvfU OMG. OMG. OMG. *excited* P.S.: Will edit this post tomorrow when excited-ness subsides. Woots.
@ 13:38 244. Yes, that's right, 244 is my aggregate score. Kind of lower than my expectations, I guess. I was expecting 250++. HAHA. Fat chance. ANYWAY, a lot of people (mostly the girls) from 6Courage cried when Mrs Wong was talking to them about their scores. I think they cried because they couldn't bare to leave QtPS and not because of their scores. Mrs Wong was very "cute": she brought this whole roll (ok lah, not exactly WHOLE ROLL, but quite a number) of toilet paper to wipe away her tears. 6Care, on the other hand, are all cold-blooded animals with no feelings. LOL, JUST KIDDING. Almost no one cried, except for a few exceptions. Mr Wong is going to further his studies in July~ I'm hoping that he'll be back by next year's Teacher Day. Haha. CRYSTAL GOT 4 A* AND 264~~~~ However, she wasn't the highest scorer in school. The highest was Pin Jia, 167, 3A*s and 1A (267). AND HE WASN'T EVEN THERE. Haha. Here are MY marks... English A* Chinese A* Mathematics B Science B Higher Mother Tongue DISTINCTION Yeah, so my Maths and Science sucks. I knew I didn't have a lot of logic and common sense in the first place. LOL. Ok, gonna do something else other than posting. BYE~ Sigh.
Tuesday, 18 November 2008 @ 21:11 Was actually very excited about the thought that the (OMG, four wrods starting with the letter 'T' in a row!) very first outing I'd organized was only about 3 days away. Then I received an SMS from Dave today. "Can change the date" Yes, just like that, without even so much as a polite question mark. *sighs* Anyway, Evvie can't make it too, because her dad has heart problems. So I'm going to have to postpone it. I told the rest (e.g. Hock Jin, Gary and Cassandra) and they were all ok with it. Just have to find another date...LOL! NEW WANTS~ So last Sunday me and Mummy went to the Bookfest '08 at the Suntec Convetion Hall. Well, actually, I went to the bookfair. Mummy went to the Singtel exhibit. AND SHE GOT A BRAND NEW SPANKIN' PHONE. SO PRETTY! My next phone. DEFINITELY. Just have to wait 5 more months for my contract to expire. THEN I WILL OBTAIN THIS WONDERFUL PHONE! MWAHAHA. SO PURTY. Haha.Get Well Soon!
@ 16:24 Evvie can't come to this Friday's outing because her father has some heart problems and she has to accompany him to the hospital. :( I hope her father gets well soon! And I'm not Cass is in Malaysia now downloading the whole saga of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney DS games. NOT FAIR. Haha. I mean, she just announced her 'brilliant plan of downloading the games' last Friday and she's in Malaysia now. Like, WTH?! Seriously, she is too rich for her own good. Haha. I shall get the whole saga too! One day...LoL. I hope the outing can get postponed to some other day. Because even though this Friday is okay for Gary, Hock Jin and Cassandra, Evvie and Dave can't make it. :( Addicted.
@ 15:51 WARNING: Mega fangirlishness in this post. Currently playing Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. SO FUN. In case most of you don't know what the afore-mentioned game is, it's like a DS RPG game where you play a defence attorney and you're supposed to find evidence at crime scenes before defending your client in the court hearing. FUN/COOLEST GAME EVER. I believe Cassandra can share my joy. LOL! For those of you who STILL can't grasp the concept, just search it on the Internet, sheesh. That's what Wikipedia is for. So now I've met this character called Klavier Gavin and he is HAWT/COOL/HANDSOME/HAWT. He's basically a rock god by day and prosecutor by night. CAN YOU SAY UBER-COOLNESS?!?! And I think that he has a crush on Ema Skye, a detective who is also his employee. WAHAHA, I SHALL WRITE A FANFIC ABOUT THEM! *plots* Meanwhile, here are some pics for you to see. GET READY TO BE BLINDED BY KLAVIER GAVIN'S ULTIMATE ROCK GOD-NESS! WOOTS. Klema (Klavier+Ema) = <3 I shall go work on my fanfic now. Bye~ Goodbye.
Friday, 14 November 2008 @ 14:18 6 years. It isn't a small amount of years. Especially if you have to see the people over and over and over and over and over and over again. Still, suddenly, all the feelings of irritation and impatience have vanished. Now the feelings I'm feeling are of longing. I'm secretly wishing that we didn't have to graduate. That we didn't have to leave. That we could stay together forever. Of course, that's the most silly thing one could ever think of. As life goes on, we meet people and we leave them. Forever doesn't exist. It was foolish of me to think that it should and it would. However, I'm glad that I have the one thing that does follow me through my life, and that is my memories. Memories are the only things that can and will accompany us through the years, and that is why I hope I never lose them. Many things have happened within these past 6 years. Laughs. Tears. Quarrels. Fighting. Even more fighting. Still, all of them, good or bad, are my most treasured possessions I could ever have. Remember those times...
Of course, there are many more memorable occasions, too many for me to list. Still, I really really want to thank you all, pupils of 6Care/6Courage for giving me so many memories. For providing me the chance to smile/laugh. For just being there. Thank you all. I can't even express how thankful I am for meeting you guys...
Of course, there are still many many people I want to thank. For example...
All those laughter. All those claps. All those cheers. We, as pupils of 6Care, have 'bullied' teachers and have been 'bullied' by teachers. I wouldn't have thought that it was possible to feel so thankful that you bunch of dysfunctional/crazy/fun people would enter my life and fill me with so much laughter and joy. Thank you, really. And with that, it's time to say goodbye. Sigh.
@ 13:11 So today was our last Speech and Prize Giving Day in our primary education life. It went on ok, except that MY POPPER DIDN'T POP WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO!! LOL. Had to wait for 30 MINUTES to get a prize. Sheesh. Haha. Ok, boring post. Gonna to find a nice blogskin. ^_^ PICTURES~~ So these are the pictures of the Paint-A-Bin Inter-school Competition. Jia En working on the My "boss" Kimberly doing some final touch-ups on our bin, which I am still proud of. Hee. Huang Qi explaining to the judges about his bin; his inspiration, the bin's message blahblahblah. Dave basically just stood there and followed Huang Qi and the judge around the bin. =_= BTW, those two black crosses on top of the bin aren't crosses, they're 'birds', according to Huang Qi/Dave. Jia En's turn to explain her bin's concepts to the judges. Huang Qi standing in the background. LOL. All in all, it was a really fun experience, and I also got $35 worth of book vouchers. WAHAHA. Painting.
Wednesday, 12 November 2008 @ 15:18 WE WON THE INTER-SCHOOL PAINT-A-BIN COMPETITION~ Woots. I can't even describe how happy I am. All those hours of kneeling in front of the bin painting, all those hours of breathing in toxic paint fumes, all those amount of paint that got splattered onto my school uniform WEREN'T IN VAIN!!!! The ironic thing was that Jia En kept on saying "We won't win lah! See the other groups' ones so nice!" (Personally, I felt that ours was better. LOL.) Then in the end, QUEENSTOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL WAS THE ONE WHO WON FIRST PRICE!!!! And some more the winning one among ours was JIA EN's. LOL. Really, 老天不负苦心人。 Darn, my phone's USB refuses to work now. D:< (Tilt head to the right please.) Guess I'll have to upload the pics some other time. ^_^ So the prize is $300....worth of Popular book vouchers. LOL. RANDOM.
Tuesday, 11 November 2008 @ 15:38 This post is going to be filled with randomness, so please be prepared. RANDOM THING #1: Cassandra said that she killed Gary (the Head Prefect, not the snail) and ate his liver. She then explained that she got the idea from Madagescar 2 (to hell with typos!), when the penguins were planning to eat the humans. Then she sold his lungs on eBay. Seriously, where can you find such funny friends? RANDOM THING #2: My computer blacked out all of a sudden and when I turned it on it made the sound similiar to an ambulance's siren. =_= Ok, getting bored. HAVE TO WATCH EPISODE 16 OF HOT SHOT. WEE~
Thursday, 6 November 2008 @ 15:23 Just came back from school and I am KNACKERED. Cassandra wanted to get a Coke and a cup of mash potatoes from 7-Eleven so I followed her. And guess what happened?
Well, actually, it was only the colour, but the white dot on the gravy and the gravy spot on the mashed potato was made by Cass. =) *cricket-sounds in the background* You guys obviously do not know how to appreciate food art. >: Today we had dance lesson and we have officially finished choreographing the dance!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!! All we have to do now is to arrange our positions. Haha. Should I do another meme? Hmm... Bored.
Wednesday, 5 November 2008 @ 11:22 我是女生. 我只是女生. - 黑Girl, "女生" In the com lab now, just finished writing out a compo on the computer. I say "write" because we had to write a soft copy of the Chinese compo using a template. =_= Honestly, would it kill them if we just typed it out?? Mr Yeo that by using the template, we would be able to understand the strokes of the Chinese words more. Um, HELLO, if we didn't know the strokes of the words we wouldn't have written the compo!! *takes in deep breath* Crystal didn't come to school today because she has some dental appointment or something. Hock Jin says that she's going to get braces! *gasps* Really really REALLY tempted to do another meme, but I want to do it at home. :p MEME. YAY.
Tuesday, 4 November 2008 @ 21:09 I finally found a nice meme. WOOTS. 1. How old were you when you got your first library card? I remember my mum got it for me when I was in kindergarten. Yes, I'm a nerd. 2. What's the first book you can remember reading from a library? Er...eh...I can't remember. 3. Did you ever participate in a summer reading program or other kids' event at a library growing up? No, are you crazy? The people there make you feel like you're 3. 4. Do you remember when card catalogues weren't computerized? No. I don't even know what you're talking about. 5. When was the last time you went to the library? Last Friday (31/10/2008) 6. How many books do you usually check out of the library at one time? If you're talking about books, about 1, for fear of not being able to finish them. If you're talking about comics, then 4, or at least as much as I can find. Hee. 7. Name one great author you've discovered at your library. JEAN URE. 8. What was the librarian at your elementary school like? She was young. And was Malay. 9. How many times a year do you go to the library? A LOT. 10. If you could change on thing about your library, what would it be and why? I would install these computerized robots that help to sort out the books and zap people with their ray guns when they don't put books back in the place where they found them/sorting bin. Because the afore-mentioned type of people suck. =) I am tempted to do another. WAHAHA. SIGH.
@ 13:00 Things That Are Not Going Well Now
*sigh* How I wish something good would happen now. P.S. The list above is NOT a meme. MEME.
@ 11:41 Omigosh, I can't find any nice/fun/funny memes to do~ Can someone kind enough give me NICE meme that has actual witty questions in it and not some "spiritual" questions that "dig deeper into your soul and help you find your inner self". Sheesh. I just noticed that my toes on my right leg (except the big toe) are rather curled up. DUN DUN DUN. I am officially a freak. I'm currently reading "BIG WOO! My not-so-secret teenage blog" by Susie Day, which is funny. SO READ IT. PARTY~
@ 11:21 Um, so, yeah, yesterday was the P6 Graduation Celebratory Party. WOOTS. Haha. So anyway, everyone brought a gift for the gift exchange and food to eat during the party. Was so excited~ Then Mr Wong had to spoil it all by scolding us about not having self-discipline, blahblahblah, about eating the potato chips before he told us we could, blahblahblah. You could practically feel the buay song-ness in the air as everyone just listened to him drone on... So, I was too busy stuffing my face with food to take pictures, BUTBUTBUT.... There was a really suspicious article!!! *gasp* DUN DUN DUN DUN~~~ IT'S A BOMB! IT'S A BOMB! IT'S A FREAKIN' BOMB!!! In the end, it turned out that it was a lucky draw prize sponsored by King Kew's father, and guess what it was? ...AN OVEN! Didn't take a pic of it because the person who got it, Jia En, ripped off the wrapping after the end of school, after much persuasion from Mr Wong. LOL! The picture on the box showed an oven with a really skinny headless chicken being roasted in the oven. ...... Oh, oh, and look what I got!! WAHAHAHAHA. I HAS THREE CHOCOLATE BARS. The first one was for winning the captain's ball match (YES WE WON, although I wasn't actually playing), the second one was for participating in the debate and the third one I snatched out of Huang Qi's hand. MWAHAHA. Just kidding. He gave it to me. HEE. Soz I didn't take more pictures. Like I said, I was too busy stuffing me face with food. I am so tempted to do a meme now. YES, I WILL. LOL. -
Sunday, 2 November 2008 @ 16:42 I know I should be memorizing my debate script but WATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT ME? HUH? HUH? HUH? Now, I will post some irrelevant/moving/cheem Chinese lines/sentences from Chinese songs' lyrics that you all can use for your MSN display names. =D [承诺好像虚拟的传说。]- S.H.E, "店小二" [望着天空 爱是否活在童话里头。]- S.H.E, "612星球" [不快乐至少 要有梦。]- S.H.E, "612星球" OMG, I suddenly find that I'm forgetting alot of the other lines. *dies* Fine, I'm going to have to post some more up when I remember the others. Wait till then. =) CHRISTMAS.
Saturday, 1 November 2008 @ 23:24 I know, I know, it's a little too early to be talking about Christmas. But hello, it's only 1 month and 24 more days!!! Why I am so excited about this is because me and Sharlene have been appointed as the Game Planners. WOOTSWOOTSWOOTSWOOTSWOOTS~~~ *on super-duper-sugar-high mode* Ok, I'm calming down. LOL. |
